Judaism & Comedy

Judaism & Comedy Fellowship What’s the best Jewish joke? Is it from a sitcom, a standup special, an old newspaper, a YouTube video, maybe even the Torah? Join us in Judaism & Comedy to explore some of our favorite (and most puzzling) Jewish approaches to humor. We’ll read, we’ll watch, we’ll raise our eyebrows, we’ll wonder what makes a joke Jewish, and we’ll definitely laugh. No prior knowledge about Judaism or comedy required. You don’t even have to be that funny! This fellowship is for you if you love to laugh and you’re curious about what you have in common with other Jews across pop culture and within Hillel. Join us Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30pm, starting on September 23. Reach out to Liana Slomka, Noah Berger, or Ella Abramovitz with questions.
