What is exciting to you about spending a week in the Dominican Republic? What are you hoping to get out of this travel experience?

In addition to learning about Jewish and Dominican history, participants will also have the opportunity to volunteer alongside the local community. There will be two volunteer tracks: Youth Development & Global Health. Please share which service opportunity is most interesting to you and what you will bring to the experience.

This experience is open to all graduate students at Columbia and Teachers College, regardless of your field of study. If you are not in a health or teaching-focused program, we still encourage you to apply!

We will be in the Dominican Repubic during Shabbat and want to ensure our Shabbat experience meets the needs of all group participants. Please describe your Shabbat practice, if you have one.
