Columbia/Barnard Hillel recently celebrated the conclusion of another successful year of the Alexander Jewish Leadership Institute (AJLI) with a dinner highlighting the work and growth of this year’s cohort. Designed to support and empower student leaders, AJLI brings together rising juniors and seniors for a yearlong experience focused on leadership development, Jewish learning, and community engagement.

During the celebration, students presented the Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) they developed throughout the year, sharing projects and ideas that reflected their passions, creativity, and commitment to the Jewish community. Cohort members also reflected on their experiences in AJLI and the relationships and leadership skills they cultivated over the course of the year.
