Columbia/Barnard Hillel welcomed students, alumni, parents, and friends to Low Library for our Annual Seixas Dinner.
We were proud to honor Ester Fuchs, Nicholas Lemann, and David Schizer, Co-Chairs of the Task Force on Antisemitism at Columbia University, with the Gershom Mendes Seixas Award in recognition of their leadership and commitment to addressing antisemitism on campus. The Young Leadership Award was presented to David Fine (CC’13) for his dedication and support of Columbia/Barnard Hillel.
Named for Gershom Mendes Seixas, one of the most influential Jewish leaders in early American history, the Seixas Award recognizes individuals whose leadership and service have made a meaningful impact on the Jewish community and beyond.
