The High Holidays at Columbia/Barnard Hillel were filled with connection, reflection, and community. From festive meals and meaningful services, to yoga, picnics, and other creative experiences, there were so many ways for students to celebrate and engage during this special time of year. Our Ring in the New Year initiative invited students to share messages of hope and reflection through a rented vintage phone placed on campus. The phone remained at the Kraft Center through Rosh Hashanah, allowing students to return and listen to thoughtful messages from their peers.
Hundreds of students took part in the holidays, coming together to reflect on the past year and welcome the new one. We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the High Holidays at Columbia/Barnard Hillel both meaningful and memorable.
