Thanksgiving came early to the Kraft Center! We held two fun gatherings to bring students together and get everyone excited for the holiday.
Our JLIC Thanksgiving Celebration brought students together for a warm and festive evening filled with all the holiday classics, from turkey and stuffing to pumpkin pie, along with a Thanksgiving-themed photo booth, hand-turkey crafts, and a gratitude wall. A student-led Dvar Torah on gratitude added a meaningful touch to the event.
Our Treats and Thank Yous event brought the community together for an evening focused on gratitude and giving. Students reflected on who they’re thankful for, crafted Thanksgiving cards, enjoyed seasonal desserts, and assembled brown-bag meals for a local food pantry to share the holiday spirit with those in need.
