Tzedek/Social Justice

Social Justice at Columbia/Barnard Hillel is incredibly strong thanks to the work of our engaged and concerned students. Our programming covers a broad range of approaches to social change work. This year we are launching a social justice fellowship where a cohort of students will come together regularly to better understand how to do meaningful justice and service work and then launch new projects and initiatives based on this learning. In addition to the fellowship we have opportunities for the entire community ranging from lecture series to tutoring projects to the Challah for Hunger project! We have fruitful partnerships across campus, with local New York organizations and with global Jewish justice organizations.  For more information or to get involved email Rabbi Megan Goldman at [email protected].
