Family Weekend

Columbia/Barnard Hillel is excited to welcome families to campus during Columbia/Barnard Family Weekend! Advanced registration is required for all Family Weekend events and in compliance with Columbia University’s COVID-19 vaccination requirement, we ask that all attendees provide proof of vaccination.

Location: The Robert K. Kraft Center for Jewish Student Life (606 W 115th St, between Broadway and Riverside)

Afternoon Reception
Time: 3:00 – 5:00PM
Stop by the Kraft Center and enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Hillel staff will be available to answer any questions you may have and provide building tours.

Shabbat Services
Conservative (Koach) Services: 6:45pm, 5th Floor of the Kraft Center
Orthodox (Yavneh) Services: 5:30pm, Rennert Hall of the Kraft Center
Reform (Kesher) Services: 6:30pm, Beit Midrash on the 4th Floor of the Kraft Center

Kraft Shabbat Dinner
Time: 8:30PM
Join us for Kraft Shabbat Dinner, our weekly pluralistic undergraduate Shabbat meal. Kraft Shabbat Dinner is free for all Columbia/Barnard students, thanks to the generosity of the Columbia/Barnard Hillel Board of Directors. Family Weekend Kraft Shabbat Dinner guests are asked to pay $36 per person. Indoor and outdoor seating will be available.

Dessert Reception and Discussion with Dean Keren Yarhi-Milo, SIPA
