Gili Roman was the head of an Israeli high school named EMIS dedicated to bringing Israelis and Palestinians together to promote peace building. He was also a senior official in the Ministry of Education.. On October 7th, Gili’s sister was kidnapped into Gaza. She was subsequently released in the hostage/prisoner exchange.
