MAYA is a show stopping, high energy performance, which combines traditional repertoire from Indian Classical music in a fresh and modern performance format. Anantha R. Krishnan on the mridangam and Charumathi Raghuraman on violin are two of India’s brightest talents, presenting the best of the ancient musical values in an entertaining and electrifying curation. MAYA is at the forefront of Indian Music stage performance. Approximately 90 – 120 minutes, the concert will combine traditional Indian Carnatic music performance with aspects of lecture-demonstration for a student audience.
