Isaac Ostrow

Isaac Ostrow is thrilled to return to Columbia/Barnard Hillel as a Student Life Associate. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Isaac graduated in 2022 from List College, the Joint Program between Columbia School of General Studies and the Jewish Theological Seminary, where he majored in urban studies and Jewish history. From his time on campus, Isaac understands the hugely important role Columbia/Barnard Hillel has to play in helping students create community, feel supported, and live enriching Jewish lives during their time in school. After a year working for the Nativ College Leadership Program in Israel, Isaac is excited to bring back and share his passion for Jewish student life with Columbia and Barnard. In his free time you can find Isaac reading, playing board games, watching sports (football—go Steelers!, basketball—go Grizzlies!, Formula 1—any McLaren fans out there??), and exploring New York City.
