Micah Cowan

Micah is the rabbinic intern for Koach, the Conservative community at Columbia/Barnard. He is a 4th year rabbinical student at JTS and spent the last academic year at the Mechon Schechter in Jerusalem and the summer serving as a chaplain intern at the NIH Clinical Center. Originally from Rockville, MD, Micah is not a stranger to the community, having graduated from GS/JTS in 2019 with BAs in Linguistics and Bible. He is the product of a Conservative synagogue, pluralistic day school, USY, and Ramah, and is incredibly excited to be back at Kraft with Koach. In his free time Micah is entering Broadway lotteries (and often winning) and Israeli dancing in and out of state!
