Rachel Barnehama

Rachel is thrilled to be starting her 3rd year at Columbia/Barnard Hillel. For over a decade, Rachel has worked as a Jewish professional, working in synagogues, teen programs, Israel engagement, and summer camps. She received her Masters in Religious Education from Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion in 2018. In 2023 Rachel was a recipient of the Robert M. Sherman Young Pioneer Award and is an alumni of the M² Senior Educator Cohort.

In her free time Rachel loves going for walks in Central Park, exploring new Broadway shows, going out for sushi, and can’t resist a good milkshake
