Kraft Shabbat Dinner FAQs

What do I wear?

ANYTHING. Really. Some will come to Kraft Shabbat dressed up for services, others will come before a night out, and some will be ready for a casual and comfy night. Wear whatever makes you most comfortable.

Where is the Kraft Center?

You’ll see our sign as you walk down 115th from Broadway! The address is 606 W. 115th St, right across from Schapiro.

What do I do when I get there?

When you enter the lobby, flash your CUID to our security guard, and the Hillel team will welcome you with a “Shabbat Shalom!” and direct you downstairs to Rennert. Once downstairs, you’ll check in at the door and show a form of ID. If you’re coming to Kraft for services, hang out on the 2nd floor until Shabbat dinner is ready to begin.

What happens after dinner?

The Kraft Center is open until midnight, and you’re welcome to stay! Once you’re done with dinner you can stretch your legs and meet new friends as you head up to the 2nd floor for dessert. Chat, play a board game, hang out – stay as long as you like.

Can I come back?

YES. Kraft Shabbat happens every week, and it’s always a free gift to students thanks to our generous donors.  Feel free to bring any friends!
