Jim joined the Columbia/Barnard Hillel as Chief Operating Officer after having spent many years in the corporate banking world. Over the years, he has been very active as a volunteer with many Jewish and secular non-profits. Jim felt that it was time to become involved professionally in the Jewish non-profit world and brings an enthusiasm to his role at the Columbia/Barnard Hillel. He lives in Manhattan with his wife Shira, and they have three grown sons. Favorite activities of his are skiing, hiking, Nordic walking and gardening.
